Since I am in Washington DC for the week end, I decided that I would look up DCA arrival and departures, on Flight aware. I decided to look at the 757 flights, and I fond something interesting, United have a schedule flight, from IAD to DCA. The flight number is 6863, and the a/c is an 757.


Why would UA, fly such a short route, and why would they use such big plane like a 757, on such a short route?


PS, it departed IAD at 7:00, and Arrived at DCA by 7:13.
