The return looks pretty packed too apart from La Premiere(First) which looks to have a few seats available ....

It's on routes like this where the A380 stands out on its own. At last, long haul travel has become bearable again in economy.

I wonder if it's worth dumping First?

LAX is a high premium market. Why do you suggest that? First with a 60% LF should be profitable. During the summer, well to do Hollywood types will by the seats to Paris. The cabin won't usually be full, but I expect it to make money.

Singapore, Qantas, Korean, Air france

China Southern has to be the next A380 operator into LAX.

You think so? I've tried to find out how they're performing with a not-every-day 777-200ER but I don't know...

Why do you assume this, g500? CZ doesn't even offer daily service to LAX and their 77Es they fly are rarely full from what I understand. If anythring, I think this route would be downgauged to a 788. Currently, CZ plans on flying their A380s within Asia and mostly in China.

Air France's 32"x19" in Y on the A380 is a pleasant surprise and is matched only by SQ. Definitely noteworthy, especially compared to Lufthansa's 31"x17" offering.

LAX seams to be quite the a380 hub.. No EK oR LH, but hopefully we can change at least one of those soon.

Out of curiosity which airport, that doesnt have an a380 airline based airline (or airbus) , sees the most A380 ops.

At this time, I can only think of LAX and LHR

I'd probably add JFK and HKG to that list. I know that JFK is currently seeing 380's from SQ, EK, KE, AF and LH (I believe they just restarted this on LH400/1 for the summer). For HKG, I believe EK, CZ, KE, and SQ use it there (possibly QF too?). I'd imagine that HKG will see quite a few more down the line as well.

I could have sworn I've seen the AF A380 at LAX a few times earlier this year, at least on FlightAware. Is this really the inaugural?

Are there any plans for Air France to move its other flights to TBIT in the medium term? I know currently some of their flights are still at T2
