Hey... the last US DC-9 flight is this weekend. Get those cameras out!

(Arlington, VA) -- US Airways will reach another aviation milestone tomorrow when it retires the last of its DC-9 aircraft. That will end 34 years of service and more than four-Million hours of flying. The last flight, US Airways 443, will depart Philadelphia at eight p.m., Eastern time, on Saturday and will arrive in Pittsburgh at 9:26 p-m. US Airways took delivery of the first of 77 DC-9 aircraft on June 3rd, 1967. The DC-9 has flown more than four-point-nine-Million segments in the US Airways system.
