Have been off the site for some years, but i do remember at the time that there were 'rumours' that an enthusiast had video of this landing but transmission had been embargoed due to the forthcoming investigation.
Just watched Air Accident Investigation on TV and nothing was said about this.
Was it just that... a rumour, or if true ha it and stills also taken ever been published.

I don't recall anyone taping the landing and accident. If that were the case, the tape should have been released by now.

Quoting KPDX (Reply 2): There's this one.. I remember seeing this on TV soon after the actual event... Looks authentic to me, albeit the quality is shit..
Yeah. The guy clearly filmed that with his toaster .

I think there was a second video other than the one above...
I remember seeing it on the tv and it was shot near the threshold through some trees in what appeared to be a park. However, I myself have tried to find it online but couldn't.

There's a sequence of still pictures taken by someone on the road adjacent to the runway, capturing the moment of impact.
That's certainly authentic but I must ask why are these clips always recorded by truck drivers... Same footage was recorded by a truck driver during the Concorde crash...
