This July, Royal Air Maroc has 9 to 12 weekly flights from JFK to CMN. Without the Delta codeshare, will this likely be too high of a frequency? It would interesting to know how essential the codeshare is for the success of the route for Royal Air Maroc.

Replacement partner....
AA or B6 out of JFK?
Wasn't there talk of one of the North African carriers being interested in oneworld? Was it RAM or Tunisair that was interested?

I hope so, a 757 would be perfect for the route! With RAM being a less than stellar airline, I'm sure they can pick up business and leisure traffic on this route.

No doubt there's more to this story. Ususlly, there's a lot more time given before an agreement is actually terminated.

Quoting Coronado (Reply 7): I have absolutely no knowledge, but the haste makes you think that RAM is about to get cited for safety issues either by FAA or Europe.
If that happens, I wouldn't be too suprised if DL starts JFK-CMN.

AT has daily 744 service CMN-YUL with no codeshares. I can't see why 9 to 12 weekly 763s serving a major gateway to the entire USA should be a problem. Even without a codeshare I would expect AT and DL will still have an interline ticketing agreement.
With respect, I would question the daily 744 claim.
I see that the Whale is scheduled to operate the CMN-YUL flight today, 17Jun, but it seems that the service has been 763 a/c for the last several weeks.
B6 seems to be whoring themselves out to more and more International airlines, I think the more carriers they can sign to bring feed into JFK on, the better for B6. Plus all the new carriers employees of B6 can take advantage of flying on, win, win as I see it. I see B6 being to JFK, what AS is to SEA, an excellent domestic feed network for a myriad of foreign carriers with a flight or two from either SEA or JFK. Which is why I'm skeptical of B6 going long-haul International. IMO.

I am unsure to agree with you, or try and argue the point that AT needs the DL feed. If DL does go into CMN on their own, that may be the issue, DL is hot on Africa and doing better than any other US Airline since PA to Africa. I guess only those working with AT can really see how many connect off DL to AT at JFK vs those who originate or come via other carriers.
Next Flights: AS PDX-SEA-KOA on DH4/738 in F, HA KOA-OGG on 717 in Y, AS OGG-PDX on 738 in F
My buddy flew them out of JFK, and was commenting on the goat rope of a loading process when I started reading these reviews to him. He said they were largely accurate!
Cheers!

Schedule is showing a 744 every day this week except Saturday which is a 763.

JFKDKR is barely there, JFKPRG is seasonal w/ a partner on both ends, most of Southern Europe has gone seasonal--I'm not sure how CMN could be better than any of those struggling markets.
