First off, if this topic has been discussed, I apologize. I did a search and could not find anything.
It looks as though Air China now only operates the 777-300 on its LAX-PEK service. Does anyone know when the remaining 747 on this route was changed to a 777? A friend of mine flew this route recently on a 747. Also, when will all 747's be retired from the Air China Fleet. As of now there still appears to be at least one operating SFO-PEK.

The utilisation in June 12, to date, appears to be:
B-2443, B-2445, B-2447 (all pax variants): purely used on PEK-JFK-PEK
B-2467, B-2468, B-2469, B-2470, B-2471 (all combi variants - but in all pax config?): used on PEK-SFO-PEK, PEK-HGH-FRA-HGH-PEK and some flights to SZX and CAN
B-2472 (all pax variant): I believe this to be solely used on government flights, appears to be planned to operate CPH-SJD today
So in summary, the main remaining routes are only JFK, SFO and FRA. It doesn't seem likely that the full current active fleet of 9 aircraft will be needed much longer (B-2460 has already gone to Air China Cargo).
