I was there for a bit. All of the above is correct, plus a few more ACA 320's and WJA 737's. Ground was pretty entertaining to listen to for a while. Lots of confusion and not exactly a ton of space for everyone. Then the storms rolled in near YOW so everyone was getting quick left turns off of 32. I think they even switched runways very briefly. Nice to see all those heavies in YOW.

I saw this thread on the 21st, and was really disappointed that I would miss the scene at YOW when I was supposed to fly yesterday (the 22nd). I was booked to fly YOW-YYZ-YXU at 13:00 on a boring E175 to YYZ. I thought for sure by that point all the diversions would be long-gone.
I got through security by 11:45, and I decided to see if I could hop on the 12:00 flight. The aircraft was a 763, so that definitely increased the incentive. I got on no problem (it was nearly empty)... I realized something strange was going on, though, when they started making announcements in Hebrew! It turns out that this flight was a special flight number, and it was the same plane, crew and passengers that had all been diverted from TLV the day before. I am guessing the crew timed-out so they all had to stay the night in YOW. Needless to say, there were some grumpy people on board.
It was a nice flight though. The FAs seemed to be in good spirits despite what the Captain described as their "ordeal" from the day before. When we landed in YYZ people started clapping. Was a much more interesting flight for me than the regular E-jet!

Yep, this is the flight I took. I am guessing many from the TLV flight were re-routed the day before or the morning of the 22nd, because the 763 was quite empty. So, if someone was supposed to fly TLV-YYZ-YYC, I am guessing a lot would have gotten TLV-YOW-YYC, and such...
