What's Up With The Hawaiian DC-10?

What will happend to the HA DC-10 after they will be replaced by the 767?

Is there maybe a chance to those airplanes again as frighters (MD-10) ?

i don`t know what happend to the HA DC- 10`s but the question is very interesting because this planes are classics in the sky. Do you know that HA operates the DC-10 without an accident ?

I hope they will use them as freighters !

With the color sceme i must agree with you, it is beautifull !!!

The HA D10 in Tahiti was repaired and restarted flights with HA. It may now be retired from old age but it wasn't retired with its nose in the water. Boeing was sent to fix it.

The silver HAL DC-10-10's & 30's are all leased from American Airlines and will be returned to American over the next eighteen months. At least some are committed to go to Fed Ex.

The white 70th Anniversary DC-10-30's are leased from Continental and will be returned to CO.

HAL has ordered sixteen B-767-300er's, the first of which rolled out of Boeing Everett this week.

Grew up in the business and continued the family tradition.
