787 In The UA Schedule

I was randomly looking at some flights for next April and on April 14th, the NRT-DEN is listed as a "Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner".

Anyway, I didn't know they had loaded them into the schedules yet. I thought this was pretty cool. Sorry if this has already been discussed.

You're not an idiot at all, we all have missed things. Greater people have missed much bigger things. The idiot is the one who blasts you for not paying attention 24/7 which has not happened. The 87 is still an exciting topic and it's cool to see it in the GDS finally.

Awesomely put!!! Love that we can re-hash some topics with fresh views and kind opinions every now and then!

I live 7 Hrs away from DIA and will probably take the time off to go down there and "plane-spot" the launch/inaugural flight! EXCITED for that!

As posted in the other concurrent thread...It has been stated before that it would be flying proving runs for 6-8 weeks from IAH. IAH-EWR/LAX/MCO and I'm sure DEN. EWR-MCO/LAX are also likely candidates.

With UA that is a very risky thing to do. The airplane will be put on a hub to hub route between maintenance stations and it is at extremely high risk of being swapped with another plane. You might be all excited for the inagural, only to have it postponed a day and see a domestic 2-class 767 show up at the gate.

If you have never designed an airplane part before, let the real designers do the work!

Yea, the 753 is all over the schedule. A 762 was scheduled last weekend or upcoming. When the 764/762/777 were introduced they all went on the schedule IAH-MCO amongst SFO/LAX/EWR.

If the 787 will fly MCO-???, that might just warrant a weekend trip to ???. A good way to use some of my miles on UA. I just can't wait for to fly on this amaizing machine!
