When should we get a sneek preview of AA's new 777-300? Also, on this months American Way magazine, there was a rendering of the new BC cabin, very similar to the one we got a look at several months ago, however I did notice the color of the seats had changed.

I think the first 77W will be delivered end of this year, or early next year. It sure will roll out of the Everett factory before the end of this year.

Well, knowing that it starts service mid dec. I guess we will see it no later than november. I dont know how long it takes to build one but I hope someone can take pictures while it is still in Seattle. I also wonder if AA will unveil a new paint scheme with the 77W. That would be really cool. We know the next new plane to join the fleet after the 777-300 is an Airbus airplane, and by then I guess the new paint scheme should be in place right?

According to the article it take 83, seems long but Boeing made and delivered 22 last quarter, pretty good in my book!

I think the current scheme will stick around.

Well it's either going to be on the 777-300 or the Airbus but one of those two will be the start of a rebranding--i would almost bet money on it.

If not on any of the above, it will show up on the first 787 when it enters service in 2014 or 2015. By then AA should be out of Chapter 11.

Will AA train with the plane extensively before putting it into service? Or will it come off the line and be placed into immediate service. If AA plans a lag between delivery and entry into service, I imagine we'll see the plane come off the line sooner than November. What do you think?

Is AA the first USA passenger carrier to operate 777-300?
