Hey,
I just read an artical about a new UK airlines called Remac Air and they are looking to do charters into Trinidad and Tobago. Does anyone know what aircraft they would be using and any other information? Probably it might be another L-1011. Who knows.

"(From The Trinidad Guardian, 19 August, 2001)
(Trinidad) Caribbean tourism body takes 'bull by the horns'.
By Sharon Lym
Members of the Caribbean Alliance Tourism Services (CATS) are "taking the bull by the horns" and hiring an airline to bring tourists to the region.
At the launch at Hilton Trinidad on Thursday, chairman of the body of destination planners, Reynold McClean said: "We as a group banded together and came up with the idea that we do need a carrier......we are looking at a start up date in late December."
McClean said a representative from the new charter airline called Remac Air, will be in Trinidad within the next few weeks to speak to the appropriate authorities about the entrance of the new airline to Trinidad and the region.
The airline will be aimed at European tourist as it will be coming from the UK.
He said in light of the recent withdrawal of airlines in the region, stake holders in the tourism sector could no longer wait for assistance from their governments to attract new airline carriers to the region.
International airlines, he added, were sending their charters where they felt were a more profitable and this withdrawal damaged Caribbean Tourism as a product, because air fares automatically went up and seats on existing airlines were already full."
