Schiphol Airport Question

A couple of posts recently mentioned that Schiphol airport has a fantastic viewing gallery.

Can anyone provide more information as to where it is located and how to get there? Also, is it on the air side or the land side? I will be in Amsterdam in a couple weeks and would not want to miss out on this opportunity.
