What happened to their MEL plans? YYZ?

This airline really is very confusing.

No MEL yet, YYZ was supposed to be code share I think that started.

Bahrain will be taken over by Mihin Lanka from 2 September.

Also supposed to be launching Madurai in India from October, Mihin will be the first foreign airline there.

Agree, IndianicWorld, very confusing. I don't see the point in maintaining both brands, Mihin Lanka should be absorbed into UL. Is Mihin's cost base really that much lower than UL? Somehow I doubt it.
The Airbus 321 Mihin uses is a good choice though, especially for growing regional ports like Dhaka and Jakarta which proababy don't warrant a larger A330.
I just don't see the point in both airlines flying the same routes, like Trichy and Dubai.

One would hope with UL's impending entry into oneworld, they would smarten up their route network.
