I just thought of something a while ago about charter flights, even though they're called national airports, they might still have international charter flights. would there be such an international charter flight from a national airport?

If the airfield has customs/immigration facitities then international charters be that a Cessna 172 hope over from/to Mexico , Canada or Caribbean Isle right up to a 747 can and do take place.
Field performance (Runway length Paveweight etc...) excepting.
