Their schedules show LHR-TPE service is it operated with union flag bearing 748 or GSS livery 744?

EVA codeshares with quite some airlines, LH Cargo has the same deal with EVA twice a week ex FRA.

There are no 747s operating in GSS livery any more. The last revenue flight by a 744 in GSS livery was EBB-DXB (EK4868) on 21 January this year. This wet lease had commenced on 14 January when the aircraft was ferried to FRA and then operated FRA-DXB (EK9972).

After the EK lease this aircraft was ferried to HKG (GSS4005) on 5 February. On 8 February it was returned to Atlas Air and registered N477MC. It was soon back in service in Atlas Air livery:

Thanks, where do the 748F fly so far I have only found Delhi, Bombay, Dhaka and Hong Kong in schedules.

Cologne, Madrid, Johannesburg , Nairobi , Zaragoza, Dammam, Dubai, Shanghai, Frankfurt ,Chicago O'Hare, Atlanta, Bahrain and Houston

No those are not served with freighters atleast not BA ones, most are belly hold on passenger aircraft or truck service.

All those are served from Stansted with GSS B748F through the whole week.

The Schedules rotates through STN/FRA/CGN/MAD/ZAZ European points.

Madrid south bound Africa and Zaragosa north bound.

US routes STN/CGN or FRA/ Chicago/Atlanta or Chicago/Houston - Back to STN.

Asian point vary towards Hong Kong or Shanghai

As i type this G-GSSD has just landed at Stansted from Hong Kong and will go out to Cologne then east later in the day

G-GSSE is out bound over Slovakia towards Damman and having arrived earlier for Houston.
G-GSSF arrived in STN from Atlanta earlier today departed Frankfurt /Delhi/Hong Kong

Why STN and not LHR? isnt this inefficient as it doesnt allow connections between belly cargo and full cargo planes?

It's about slots or scarsaty thereof at LHR and the fact that pallets are less fussy as which airport of a particular city they pass through.

BA operate a regular trucking service between each London and a few other regional airports throughout the day so connections aren't that much of an issue

Yes suspended as is the Dynasty freighter to Manchester through to the autumn, however BA still putting pallets into EVA daily passenger service.

Attached weekly schedule ex Stansted



I can provide back schedules as well.

Those services inter Europe legs probably not carry local cargo which may be trucked and as you can see frequencies are not high to anywhere so if you check for a specific day you may well find belly or truck more frequently.
