I always do. I am wondering what you like to listen to.. Obviously Approach and departures are VERY important, so that you know what is arriving and departing, naturally. What about clearance deliveries. At large airports, I find it frustrating to listen, but, at smaller airports with not a lot of radio clutter, its one of the most interesting aspects becuase you know where the aircraft is headed. This may seem to be a dumb subject, but, I would be interested in hearing who takes a scanner to the aerodrome.

 Big thumbs up

I ordered my scanner from England... Its an AOR1000. Can pick up EVERYTHING, Military included. If i get another scanner, it will be from the same people... Its well worth $450.00

I find that at major airports, clearance delivery is very quiet these days, due to the increasing use of ACARS for clearances.
