I've noticed he visits New York City, L.A and San Francisco quite a bit.

Does he own a Global Express, G-V or something like that or does he fly on Virgin Atlantic?

WHY ? Virgin Atlantic flies any where outside Europe he needs to go except his private Caribean island.

There are a lot of places that BA flies to that VS doesn't. VS is absolutely useless to him if he needs to go to Toronto, for example.

I wonder why he uses a Falcon 900 (which has the range of a 757) when he can certainly afford a Global Express, or G-550 and fly from London to most of the world non-stop?

oh well, thanks

If he needs that sort of range he can always hire in from the likes of Netjets one would have thought.

He is after all a Brit and may still have reserve in his character, and control of his own spending, unlike certain former KGB oligarchs we could mention and doesn't have a huge entourage to ship around.

That Falcon will get him to LAX from St Maarten so why need for anything bigger.

Three engined Falcons have very good short runway performance, much better than Globals and Gulfstreams and it may be that some of the Caribbean runways he wants to fly into require this.

Well the 900 is bigger inside than the 550 height/width wise, plus 3 engines are more flexible with routes and runways. Or maybe he just has a thing for trijets.

Apparently it was up for sale last year at one point at least.

I thought he replaced that Falcon 900 with a Falcon 7X, I think G-VITA is the aircraft.

I assume that would make a lot more sense for him, those 7Xs have a 6000NM range. He's all over the place
