Storms in Chicago area this afternoon. MKE got a LOT 767 and an American 767 I believe. Any other diversions that anyone knows of?

GRR, CMI, RFD, MKE, and other aircraft from farther destinations circled for a little while

UA792 from CUN diverted to GRR(Maybe doing customs since landing from an international destination without preclearance have to go through customs)

EGF3723 from ABQ diverted to CMI and is heading to ORD

UAL836 from PVG diverted to RFD and is on its way shortly.

LOT 1 diverted to MKE from Warsaw and is scheduled to ORD

There are more but those are the ones I found.

AA154 to MSP

AA ramps were closed for about 45 minutes between 1605-1655 and UA ramp between 1655-1725.

Nice line of Thunderstorms rolled through and the winds really make it the "windy city" for a while.

Day turned into night for a little while. At least there were not as many Transatlantic flights since they arrived before the storm rolled in. Usually they would divert to MKE but LOT was the only one I found.
