In 2011, KC, LO, FZ and CZ launched services to Tbilisi, Georgia.

In 2012, QR, A3, AZ, QU and OV joined in as well. Also, BA has made it clear it will takeover from BMI on the LHR-TBS sector come October.

OK was going to pull out of PRG-TBS in early 2012, but reversed its decision and still serves the market.

Not to mention the startup last week of a new Georgian airline, FlyGeorgia, that started flights from TBS to BUS, and has AMS, Minsk and Kiev on its radar for this year as well.

Passenger stats in the last two years seem to support this fact with a healthy increase from 822,000 passenger in 2010 to 1.06 million in 2011. Granted, most of these airlines serve TBS only a few times a week, but nonetheless, the question is still worth asking...

Does TBS have the market to support all these airlines, not to mention the ability to sustain the operations of the Georgian flag carrier A9, which already serves AMS, ATH, BUS, VKO, KBP, CDG, IKA, TLV and VIE.

That's a seasonal cut. The flight is back April 2013, 4 times weekly.

Yes, this is indeed correct, however as far as I remember they initially planned a year round.
