So Sitting out in the back yard by the pool enjoying the sun. I hear this roar of a larger than normal Jet for YYT. Somewhat cloudy, and out pops Virgin Atlantic 747-400. The plane is the one with the " lady " on the rear of the Fuselage with the cape style flowing up the tail. The people on board certainly had a wonderful view as they did the circuit around Conception Bay and Surrounding St John's Area. I found it very strange though, as to the altitude over the house. Last time I saw something like that was YEARS ago when an air Canada 727 screamed over the house. I was still a child.

Quoting spiritair97 (Reply 1): It seems VIR5 LHR-MIA diverted to YYT and landed a few minutes ago. Don't know why. Probably a medical diversion.
BTW, the registration is G-VFAB
Yes, medical diversion. Following from Transport Canada daily occurrence reports:
VIR5C, Boeing 747-400, enroute from London (EGLL) to Miami (KMIA), declared a medical emergency with the New York Air Route Traffic Control Centre (ARTCC) and diverted to St. John's (CYYT). The aircraft landed at 16:52Z without further incident.
