I am flying Aeroflot LHR-SVO on either A310 or IL-96. I am flying first class. Do you have any Aeroflot experiances that I should know about before I go (service, etc.) And Aeroflot SVO-JFK on 777. I originally planned SVO-AMS-ATL on KLM then I changed. Don't Delta personnel handle Aeroflot at JFK and isn't Aeroflot late a lot?

I would strongly recommend you fly British Airways if you want to arrive in one piece!

This is inform you all that SINGAPORE AIRLINES made an emergency landing at Nagoya International Airport after it blew its tyres.

I am glad nothing else happened as SQ is renowned to CRASH their planes by running into equipments at airports. Thanks God all was okay! What a relief!

Well, I've never flown Aeroflot on European routes, just on ones to and from the USA. Most recently, I flew Aeroflot aboard a 767-300ER on ORD-SVO; this was back in 1999, and the flight was every bit as good as any I've flown on transatlantic routes. Aeroflot's service has improved dramatically, and this was only in coach. I am certain that first class is as attentive as any other major world airline.

Anzett and Airbus380, it sounds like you both have a very 1970s mindset about Aeroflot. This is the very mentality I am tired of having to deal with on this forum. Has either of you ever flown Aeroflot? If not, it would be a good idea to try them first before making stupid judgement calls. Thanks.

Anzett and Airbus380 - childish and uneducated posts like that should be kept clear off this forum.

I have flown SVO-LHR on SU's A310. The experience was excellent. Having flown many times on domestic Russian routes, the difference of Russian pilots on International routes is something that has to be "tried for yerself" - very smooth handling of aircraft makes for enjoyable take offs and landings.

BA's SVO-LHR service is great too. I like their B767s  Smile.

How is Airbus380's post childish?

I totally agree with NW-ELITE. I was just asking about some Aeroflot insight. I am flying on them and just want to know what they are like.
