I've just been watching an episode of Airline Repo (not sure if it's a series or one-off). This particular episode shows the guys recovering two Airbus A320s '87' and '88', one from Chateauroux in France, and the other from Istanbul Ataturk in Turkey.
Does anyone know which aircraft these are? Most shots have the registration blurred out.

It was a short lived 'series' - 3 episodes IIRC.
I recently saw that it is now running on Destination America. That channel has been known as Discovery Travel & Living, Discovery Home & Leisure, Discovery Home, and Planet Green in the past.

I saw this episode, the registration numbers were changed in the Azores from what I remember, does anyone have any idea who flew these birds prior, or who they were operated by, at time of repossession? On another episode they began the show showing one of the A-320's at GYY and said Mr Popovich was looking for a buyer, but for only one of the frames.

That is what I've seen exactly 3 episodes. Maybe the publicity backfired on his business, I believe extreme discretion would be paramount in his line of work, and national T.V. may be too much exposure for him, his crew and business. Mr Popovich seems like the kind of guy you'd want as an ally. Who knows for sure, but it was fun watching those 3 shows.

According to Airfleets.net, they were repossessed whilst being operated by Hellas Jet, around 2010. Previously operated under different registrations for LTE and RJ.

IIRC, the episode at some point said these planes were being rushed out in case the company leasing them filed bankruptcy keeping them from repo'ing the planes as the government would seize them for collateral. So I guess Hellas jet is no longer operating? Was this the company that lost an aircraft in ATH a few years ago, flying was a steward of the company and working the flight?
