Problem At LHR?

Just before 1pm Sunday, appears very quiet on approach and take off, did something happen?

Just had a look on Planefinder, and I see the usual line-up of aircraft on approach, as well as normal take offs.

If there was problem, it must have been short lived.

It was due to to weather- Thunderstorms in the area, but sunny again

They also changed runways from 09's to 27's at that time so that would explain.
No thunderstorms here yet but cells keep building up to the south of the country expecting to move north later on.

Runway change. I came in on 09 at 12:10. By the time I got to Bath Road it was back to 27.

Going by the gap in traffic they obviously don't use the 'Washington' method of end change!
