This is probably a strange question, but does DL routinely have an aircraft parked at their headquarter gates for appearance during the day. I've been there numerous times and have seen to 2 767's parked angled, a 332 a few times, and even a 77L. It's a very nice treat to get that close to those birds and a great gesture from the airline. However, it could be just available space to park an aircraft not in use.

The building you are seeing is not headquarters, rather its just part of TechOps where they handle a good chunk of interior maint. Headquarters is across the street behind the renaissance hotel, FBO, and a bunker type hill.

Yep. Its Delta North of which 206(cabin maint) is based out of(minus the guys in the hangar) Also IIRc the 2nd largest parking area at the airport(1st being the hangar)
