I was looking to book a trip to CPH- Mainly for the annually visit to Tivoli Gardens(late november) and noticed that BA uses the B767-300 on a daily rotation from LHR.
BA0818 LHR 14:00 - CPH 17:00
BA0819 CPH 18:00 - LHR 19:00
Has this been announced/discussed before?

Quoting santos (Thread starter):

BA0819 CPH 18:00 - LHR 19:00

Seems like a tight turnaround for a 763, but I guess BA finds a way

I did a day trip to CPH on BA last November and came back on the 767, on a Saturday evening and I was surprised to find it 90+% full. I had a pair of seats next to me, but generally it was full. The turnaround was fairly quick as quite a few of us where in the gate area when it come it. I was back in CPH a few weeks ago for the day, but tried SAS this time. I must try the Tivoli Gardens next time I go, CPH is a nice city for a day/weekend trip. Hope you have a good time!

Not really. The minimum turnaround time for a BA short haul 767 is 50 minutes

Really. Did not know that. I woudl have thought it was a lot longer, but we are talking about the shorthaul ones so it is probably a lot quicker. Thanks!

The shortest scheduled longhaul 767 turn that I know of is BWI at 90 minutes. Shorthaul aircraft do not take as long.

I'm proud to say my team (many years ago) turned around a BA longhaul 767 in under 60 minutes in order to get an on-time departure on a delayed arrival.

We just turned BA780/1 in 50 mins exactly. 233 pax in and 247 out and a load of freight on pallets.
But we have no catering change (all loaded in LHR), and no crew change, and with the large widebody doors and two aisles the passengers get on and off much quicker than an A321.

You were very lucky. B767 have been very rare visitors to CPH. The 6/week schedule starts 28 Oct.

No we only have one airbridge at ARN on each gate, but we use it at Door 2 which helps a lot.

I thought the Tivoli closed for the winter about the 3rd weekend of September; if I had known it was open till late November I would have made a quick visit to CPH during my trip to Europe.

On a side note I was pleasantly surprised back in May 1993 when SAS put a 767 on the evening CPH-LHR instead of the usual MD80
