Does anyone know when Southwest stopped serving Boston Logan?

I just viewed a Just Planes video of BOS from 1993, showing WN there.

Gracias,
Joe

Southwest has never had service into or out of Boston's Logan Airport.

Don't know what you were watching that indicated otherwise.....I suppose they could have run a charter in there several years back. But take it from me....it's never been on their route map.

Only places they have served with regular daily service that they no longer fly to: DEN, BPT, DET, SFO.

They never even started (and won't). The picture you saw was of a plane being used for a charter. To Southwest, 'Boston' means Manchester, New Hampshire and Providence, Rhode Island.

WN would never fly into BOS, there are too many weather problems and too much congestion.

I wish they would fly there. I love Boston and want to go really bad and it would be nice to have a low fare carrier I could take.

The video doesn't lie. It is definitely Boston. WN 737-3H4, Reg N338SW.

Does WN do charters? Or, maybe they were testing a possible new route?

Anyway, thanks for responding.

Joe

Probably a charter. WN does occasional charters. I've seen their flights listed on the weekly shcedule at PIE once in a while, but obviously they don't fly there on a regular basis.
