Now, now !! Today we celebrate and feast; let the games begin tomorrow!

I have been lurking in BLR for the last few months and looks like some of the training flights will be DEL-BLR, so hope to get a ride soon!

Boeing is the Gold Standard of the industrial world. If they can't deliver, then it is humanly impossible. Canonically, it is impossible for Boeing to be wrong.

p.s. As a brahmin, kindly repeat the Gayatri Mantra every time you mention Boeing.

I can't lie, part of the reason that I am glad this has happened is because I am ready to see some new liveries on the flightline here at CHS.

It looks very similar to the current livery on the 777s which I really like - its upbeat and cheerful - very stylishly Indian!

But the Indian Muslim community would.

The 787 looks really good in AI colours I hope with the new liberalised Visa policy between the two countries, AI can return to Pakistan and fly these here as well.

Interior pics http://www.newairplane.com/787/deliv...rline/#/en/ain/787airindiagallery/ looks great to me, dont care much for J class though, its seat design kind of bland looking.

C looks boring, but Y looks the same as the current 777 design, which I find quite bright and airy. The recline in Y looks pretty decent, I have to say.

I see they ve gone 3-3-3 - the equivalent of 3-4-3 on a 777?

Actually I have known of Royal Nepal Airlines (when it still was called that) sacrificing a buffalo and anointing the airplane with its blood whenever a new aircraft came in. Don't know if they still do it.

Also read about something similar here
