ZRH is increasing the apron space to accommodate more aircraft's on remote positions from the gate areas.
It seems there will be even changes at the maintenance facilities.
Could anyone shed more light on this?
After looking at this plan, what I don't understand is this desire to continue the legacy of the concrete formerly known as runway 4/22, turned taxiway, turned partial ramp. Just fill in the gaps; and instead of having 2 1/2 ramps over there just have one large expandable one.
