According to my MIA Photographers' FB page,C6-BFM was ferried to OPF to be scrapped on Sep 16th . And C6-BFW was ferried the same route today. Sad event. No more BHS 732's to see and hear spotting on vacation. This now leaves the US with just Skyking's single 732,N251TR and Sierra Pacific's 2 . Sad .

Glad I flew UP from FLL to NAS on C6-BFM last December...even took the safety card.

I knew it would be soon, but didn't know how soon. The only way I knew it was noon was when I heard the UP flight coming into MCO.....guess I'll have to wear a watch now haha.

I saw them in NAS when I was there in August. I lobbied to fly UP through FLL or MCO as I had family flying from FLL too but we didn;t. The DL 737 and MD88 were cool, but not 737-200 cool!
Oh well, another awesome aircraft is disappearing from the skies. Glad I caught a glimpse of the whole 732 fleet while I was there! You know, all two of them!

727LOVER,I forgot about Avior. I took a nice shot of BFM @ FLL in April .... Doesn't seem that long ago that DL brought the -200 to ROC when they re-introduced mainline back to ROC.

I flew the 732 on one round trip. Wanted to try to get on one more flight oh well. Certainly will miss the 732 it was a great aircraft. I know someone who flew MIA-NAS-MIA on it last month and he said the plane was in horrible horrible shape. Duck tape every where, dirty, things did not work. It was probably time.

In August, my cousin and his wife flew FLL-NAS-FLL and when we met up at NAS, his wife said that the plane was not the best inside. Not leather seats, dirty, and the galley was so out in the open that anyobdy could just reach in and grab omething if they wanted. I guess she was a bit happier when they flew NAS-FLL on a 735.

2 737-500's and 5 Dash 8-300's. 2 737-400's that are wet-leased.

I don't generally do this, but if you guys want a glimpse into UP's 732s, feel free to read my TR from earlier this year: Bahamasair's 737-200, UP205, 21MAY12 (by dc9northwest May 24 2012 in Trip Reports)
Wanted to get to fly on a 732 before they got retired.... and UP was the simplest choice. I tried to take a lot of pictures.

You mean you actually trusted them to be on time?
I am glad I got one last flight on the 732 in August, even if it was 43 hours delayed, and ground staff in MCO were so rude that it's certainly going to be my last UP flight until they have new management... which here goes along with election cycles.
