The original article was published by the business magazine "Trends-Tendances" but the newspaper "De Standaard" elaborated on it following a television interview with Mr Etienne Davignon, chairman of the board:
He stated that the necessary measures to ensure the future of the company do not imply job losses per definition. There's a board meeting today which will reveal more detailed information.
I'm curious with what they will come up. It seems (a limited) job loss is inevitable. But if the unions will behave the same way they have back in the days with Sabena, things might get ugly. To be continued...
