TWA had ten Boeing 767-231ERs and had a few second hands also. I know some got the
scrappers torch and some went to Airbourne Express then DHL.How many are still active?

Seems like 4:

N603TW is with Atlas as N650GT
N607TW is with Atlas as N651GT
N608TW is with Atlas as N652GT
N609TW is with Atlas as N653GT

All of the above were former ABX birds, seems Atlas bought them earlier this year. Info on airfleets.net seems not to be up to date.

The rest seem to be either stored or scrapped.

Long live TWA

And N604TW went to a private user in Saudia Arabia so 5 are still ative with 2 stored and 2 derelict and 3 scrapped for the total number of 12 they operated.

Happy to hear it. My first flight was on that plane, when I was nine months old... LAX-JFK.

and is still in operation as VP-CME, regularly seen all around Europe, I believe it is now operated by Mid East Jet of JED alongside BBJs, 757, 777 exec aircraft.

Ryan Air International (the Dod/Charter carrier from RFD) has one of TW's 767's. Cant remember which tail it is! Still configured in TW's interior. It's either here in RFD or at Sanford, FL.

637TW, which transfered and flew with AA after the sale.

Ryan has a -300ER (N637TW) but it is not an original TW bird.

N606TW still has the original TW interior.....Now in a one class configuration with the original 1983 seats redone in black leather. It was returned to Boeing Capital from the Italian Air Force and apparently in storage.

This plane is built to withstand anything... except a bad pilot.

A few years ago, I discovered that my mother had kept the reservation of my first flights in some old files. Based on that, I checked the BTS' site which gives detailed information about all US flights since 1995; registration, delay, wheels-up time, etc. If one knows the flight number and date, then the registration can be found.
