A friend's dad told him that he heard on the news that numerous aircraft (6) were damaged in Adelaide/Parafield yesterday when someone did a hand start on a prop and the aircraft started moving itself and damaged 6 aircraft.

Has anyone heard anything about this? How many aircraft were damaged? What aircraft were damaged? Are they badly damamged?

Maybe this didn't happen at all, but it got me interested as I did all my training in Parafield.

Yes, I heard about this incident. Apparently, the brakes were not engaged when the prop started and the plane started to roll. It ran into a few aircrafts and severely damaged a number of them.
I saw the pictures of aircrafts involved, and some of those aircrafts look like definite write-offs. I'll post a link if I run into one.

Was this in Adelaide or Parafield?

Were any of the aircraft blue and white? I.e. belonging to BAE Systems Flight Training.
