I have noticed a ton of new CR2's in SFO lately with the Go! livery. Instead of the "Go!" it reads Skywest. Am I seeing things or is this the case?

Do you have tail numbers? If they are BR tails, those are the original Go! planes that were retired only a couple of years into the Go! venture. The markings where never removed.

There are NO SkyWest planes in the Go! livery, nor were any taken and kept with that livery. When Independence Air went out of business, many of their airplanes found homes at several airlines.. The scheme you've seen recently, while similar to Go!, is not the same. It is a generic scheme that was designed when the AirTran flying was being done in MKE as a code share. The airplanes never carried any AirTran logos or branding. Several other airplanes have been repainted in that scheme and can fly in all major partners' networks as they carry no branding or logos.

Look up 693BR and you'll see what I'm talking about. That is one that flew for both Go! and SkyWest, but the livery is not the same.

Quoting olddominion727 (Thread starter):

You see the SkyWest A/C in one of the house liveries. These were originally used for AirTran Connection out of MKE.

The flying in MKE was as a code share. It was not Air Tran Conneciton.
