Yesterday, a DL 764ER (N832MH) was sent to PAE.

I wonder, what is going on with this particular aircraft? Does anyone know?

Is DL subcontracting any maintenance work to Goodrich? That's usually why airplanes go to PAE. There's usually a few WN 737s on the ground at PAE.

If you have never designed an airplane part before, let the real designers do the work!

I'm jealous of the people of the MSP-SEA flight that it operated that showed up to their gate and saw that sitting there waiting!

Maintenance. Not sure what kind, probably a C-check. Several 764's have rotated through PAE recently, along with a few 753's. Earlier this year, most of the MD-88 fleet came through as well.

Who were the Seahawks playing over the weekend... or the Washington Huskies.... just throwing out the possibility of a sports charter.

I had the luck opportunity to jumpseat on this very flight. Was surprised to see a 767-400 show up, instead of the scheduled 757!

I think most of the sports charters for the Huskies, Mariners and Seahawks opponents would go to BFI since it is major traffic jams closer than PAE.

Rams...sadly they were unable to throw a game-winning interception this time.

Well at least we can all take comfort in the fact that NW will never retire their DC-9s

I was surprised to see the DL 764 fly over since there hasn't been one for ages.

Not only that, but BFI is just a few miles on local roads from the Seattle stadiums. The traffic is terrible from PAE to Seattle, but by distance alone BFI is a way better choice.

Not to mention some AS 737s.

Does anyone know if the 764 has become a regularly scheduled flight from SEA to MSP or other destination? I saw a 764 take off from SEA for a second time today around 1:30PM.

I believe that one 764 left PAE to go back into service last night, while another arrived at SEA tonight and will probably soon ferry to PAE.

Yep, N832MH is back in service as of today, and N838MH was flown into SEA today. However, FlightAware isn't currently showing any future scheduled flights for N832MH.

It doesn't appear so, though yesterday (October 4th), n832mh operated flight 40 to MSP that took off at 1:14pm. It was returning to service from PAE.

It beat the heck out of the 757 it replaced, with the free movies and such, plus 80 open seats in the back! Even got upgraded to Biz class! Best jumpseat ride I have had for a long time!

I can tell you that this a/c did not have WIFI as it was announced numerous times by the FAs!
