Beautiful plane. It looks like he should have turned back when the weather started closing in, then got lost and ran out of fuel. Very rugged country where it came down.

According to the caption of the airliners.net photo she had already crashed in 1954 and was rebuilt !

Wasn't there an incident with a similar plane not long ago, an engine on fire ?
