Hi

Was @ DUB around a week ago & saw an unpainted Finnish reg A320/A319 taxiing in to T1, towards the bizjet & hangars area. Anyone know what was up with this bird? Just curious as I had never seen an unpainted plane before.

Thanks

By "unpainted" do you mean it was all white or was the green primer visible on the plane?

I think you'd have seen A319 OH-LVF, which is at Dublin since 28 September 2012. It's going to Donavia. OH-LVE was also wfu but is at HEL I think, and not sure where that is going.

OH-LXE -> OE-LBW Austrian Airlines
OH-LXG -> OE-LBX Austrian Airlines

This A319 will reregistrated as VP-BIS soon. Next operator will be Donavia.

Why has Finnair returned these to lessor, are they acquiring new aircraft or is it cut backs as these airbuses aren't that old?

Good to see the 320s starting new lease of life in Austria.
