When Can We First See Aeroflot's 777-300ER's?

I apologize if this has been asked before. Pressing the "search" icon didn't work using my browser.

I just wanted to know when can we expect to see the first Aeroflot 77Ws in full SU colors? I'm really surprised to not see much posted about this order on A.net. I hear more about AA's 77Ws than this, which is strange considering the SU order is larger. Aeroflot has 16 77Ws slated for delivery starting next year. Does anyone know what quarter of 2013? I can't wait to see these birds. They will no doubt be just about the most gorgeous 777s!

Also, I saw that when SU originally placed their 77W order, it included two 77Es. Now, they aren't listed anymore. Were they converted to 77Ws?

Thanks for any info.

The reason there's more talk about the AA ones is because there is rumor that they are going to have a new livery on them. And the first one for AA is expected to roll out mid next month sometime. So between how soon and the potential livery change its kind of more exciting.. Though I think that the SU 77W will probably look much better.

And I've looked all over and can't find anything about when they are supposed to receive their first 77W other than sometime in 2013, and it'll probably be rolled out a few weeks before its due to be delivered. And someone else correct me if I'm wrong but the SU original order was for 8 77Ws and 2 77Es, and when SU upped the order to 16 two of those were the 77Es being converted.

Thanks for your response. It makes a lot of sense. I don't know how long or short it takes from rollout to actual delivery, but I think it's also strange that AA will be getting their 77Ws in two months, but I haven't seen a full airframe, yet. At any rate, I have searched far and wide, too, and nothing on the SU order or when they're expected to start taking deliveries.

People love talking about AA’s livery and AA going 10 abreast. I have seen countless threads about AA putting 10 abreast on their 77Ws, yet no one seems to care that Aeroflot is going to do the same thing and have 10 abreast as well.

You’ll probably see them sooner than you think since I believe the first is scheduled for delivery in January, which means you should see it roll out in Everett in December.

Thanks so much for the info. I hope it's true. I've really been longing to see a 77W is a metallic scheme. AA's polished aluminum doesn't count for me.

What is the interior going to be like on these aircraft, will they feature the same business class seats as found on the A330s? I herd a rumour that they will introduce premium economy too? This will be a significant game changer I feel for SU.

What routes will the aircraft be used on - a mixture of international and domestic?

SU is certainly creating a nice little niche for themselves. Although their website could do with an update!

That livery is very ugly for that type of aircraft. I would have preferred to see by far their retro-livery from the 90's on their 77W (link below) or a fusion one (retro tail and engines with modern grey fuselage etc.), especially for a plane with such huge engines. This livery is simply very grotesque on the 777 in the same way as it was on the MD-11/DC-10, while magnificent on the Il-96/A330/321 etc.
