Freigter Aircraft Configeration

Was wondering how are Freigters configured.. other than the cockpit what else is there than the storage.. other than than the flt. crew does anyone else fly on them? any seating? etc...

Some employees fly cargo airlines. There is usually 1 or 2 rows of 3 or 4 seats at the front of the plane. Some employees can also sit jump seat.

When I worked for a cargo airline, I enjoyed many trips in these freighters. You have usually either jump seats or 1 row of coach pax seats just behind the cockpit.
I tell you that the onboard service is not good, the frequent flyer program inexistant and the delays frequent  Smile
In the 727 we could take 4 pax, in the DC8 5, BAe146 2 and 8 in the A300.

Delays depend on what carrier. The "on time" performance of FedEx and UPS far exceed any passenger carrier.

There is plenty of space for luggage on most companies configurations, and the number of seats vary with the company and equipment type.
