The accident description of the Binter canarias flight sayd a passenger noticed that the left engine stop just before the crash.

Now, if you look closely at the elevator thingys (hehe sorry i can't remember the name) you can clearly see smoke trails over BOTH sides, could this mean there was a double engine failure? I'm sure that it cannot be normal because if ti is we've found the source of global warming!  Big thumbs up

Unfortunately i cannot put the pictures on due to copyrights but here is the link to the page: http://aviation-safety.net/database/2001/010829-0.htm

Please tell if you have also noticed it or if the investigators have!

Thanks!

Could be caused by engines on fire after the impact. HEY! Luis Rosa took those pics.  Big thumbs up

More than likely just left by the exhaust over many flights. The Elvator thingy's are called Elevators I thought

Hmmm, I don´t know, this could be from the normal engine exhaust.
