How many simultaneous landings/takeoffs can your airport handle? I wouldn't bother you if I could find some maps and know the minimum clearance between runways. Thanks.

AMS has 4 runways. I guess they can use them all at the same time if they want to. Don't think I've seen more than 3 in use at any time.

Once I landed at SFO in a Swissair MD-11. Parallel next to us a United Airlines aircraft landed at the exact same time. Spectacular! That was the best landing I've ever expierienced!

Honolulu can handle 3 simultaneous landings when "land and hold short" is in effect. (actually 4, but runway 4L/22R is usually reserved for general aviation departures and arrivals.)

I was on a CO Express flight CLE-DTW, and a NW SAAB was landing on the runway right next to us, and touched down at the same time as MY plane..

Raleigh-Durham can take 2 simultaneous landings, but I believe they needed a waiver from the FAA to get clearance for landings that close together.

DFW has 7 runways and can handle up to 6 simultaniously. However i've never seen that done.
