Seems like a typical airline, doing what airlines have done for years, put their newest premiere plane on their prestigious routes that has a larger premium demand, thus allowing frequent travellers the best possible experience. I think it is a smart move, allowing a lot of passengers, baggage and cargo to be carried between the two largest cities in both countries.

Maybe. I wasn't sure if the 773s were ordered for expansion or not.
I find it interesting that they don't have 772s anymore and they still have IL-96s.
