It's a lot better than what i would have expected. There are certainly much worse, even from countries with more advanced technology.

Say what you want about their website, but they certainly have the coolest fleet of any airline out there!

Nothing's worse then flying the same registration twice, except flying it 4 times..

Business class in the workers' paradise? Hmmm. I wasn't aware that they had any business in the North, other than weapons manufacture. Overall, humorous, but I ain't flying with them.

Both Chinese and South Korean have investment projects in North Korea. South Korean have some factories in Kaesong while Chinese operate the Rajin Port and several mines. We even has established a 3 billion RMB PE Fund investing in North Korea this September so you can add some exposure in North Korea to your portfolio if you want

That´s true. You don´t see many websites with a TU-154 image promoting the airline!

It is not that bad... seems quite functional.

Asian carriers' websites are not usually very flashy... check for instance China Southern Airlines (SkyTeam member, A380 operator, etc.)... it is not much more attractive.

Not bad at all, at par with many airlines who are not too particular about professional looking sites, one step forward, next should be a new livery.

I think the livery is fine. The current one looks great on the TU 204, and frankly speaking, I don't see yours any better ...

About their business class .... I can't even remember how many times I have read the same "joke" (?) about not only JS, but also CU or other airlines from ... let's call it "non-capitalist" countries.

Not too bad at all, and I'm genuinely quite surprised and impressed at the recent improvements in North Korea.

Love it how the contact emails for the sales offices are all hotmail!

I wonder how many one way bookings into North Korea they had until now.

That creatively done flag on tail is not better? yes it could go with more colour thrown here or there probably a full Air Koryo title and the Korean one added as well.

Okay...it's not exactly to my liking but that's just me. (I like cheatlines!) It is crisp and clean though. The tail is reminiscent of a flipped Negus "British Airways" tail!

Having recently flown JS I will say their flight attendant uniforms are very smart!

Afraid not. It looks like a half arsed version of BA's early Landor livery (and not in a good way!). Air Koryo's colour scheme is classic and in keeping with the rest of the country (i.e. a throwback to the 70's).

As for their website, an Air Koryo executive was very proud to tell us of their new website that allows people to book their ticket "from a computer with internet, for example, at work, in the library or even from your own home!" (With a few stifled sniggers from our tour group).
