Why? They are a current B-737NG operator, and will continue to fly them through the end of this decade. They are just planning on the replacement of the NGs later. My guess is none of the B-737MAXs can be delivered before about 2019, or so.
What would you have suggested they order? The A-320NEO?
Look at the state of Aviation currently.......How many of this order are replacements & what time frame.......
Its not about some stupid A v/s B logic but rather about the sustainability of an operator depending on the existing market.
