An Interjet Airbus A320-200, flight 4O-2953 from San Antonio,TX (USA) to Mexico City (Mexico) with 142 people on board, was climbing out of San Antonio's runway 12R already in contact with a departure above 2000 feet when the crew reported they had high vibrations on the right hand engine and requested to return to San Antonio, the right hand engine had been reduced to idle thrust. The aircraft stopped the climb at about 4600 feet and positioned for an approach to runway 12R.

Unusual to have this happen at SAT, as there are no "bird friendly" areas at the airport. Will be interesting to find out what the creature was. My guess would be vulture or hawk. SAT is on the fly way for birds migrating from up north. We do occaisonally see flocks of ducks heading south.
