U.S start up Cal Jet will fly from Houston, San Antonio, Oakland, Denver and L.A to Mazatlan, Mexico. The services will be operated by Xtra Airways 737-400 aircraft
I don't know much about Mazatlan, but I assume it is a fairly small market compared to Cancun, Cabo, and even Puerto Vallarta. Why Mazatlan? I wonder if they're trying to avoid the hassle and competition @ Cancun and Cabo?
That explains it, I did a search on airliners and could not find anything about this company. I guess my question should have been, what exactly is Cal Jet?
I'm still wondering why the chose to go with Mazatlan, kind of a thin market

If I am not mistaken it is a charter operation and run by former employees/execs from either straight or another operation. Note this is from memory/. Off the top of my head.
