Route Changes For All Airliners Egypt -Europe?

Posted (7 months 1 week 4 days 10 hours ago) and read 420 times:

Since Thursday I notice that all Egypt flight to Europe are not following the normal routing Egypt -Crete-Greece-Bosnia-....but rather do Egypt-Turkey-Bulgaria-Romania-....

Any idea about the reason for this 'drastic' change?

I flew BAH-LHR yesterday, we had an odd routing, turning almost due north over Syria and then directing back towards Europe over the Black Sea and passing over Bulgaria.

Are Greek ATC on strike perhaps?

That could be, I read that last week was a 'week of strikes' in Greece

yet they still don't want austerity - can we please let them fail and just invade from all sides and no more greece.
