Prayers to those affected on the Piper PA-32. After reading it, seems like fuel starvation.

RIP to those on board and condolences to the families.

We will however avoid suggesting that fuel starvation is more likely than mechanical failure. Many things can cause sputtering as was witnessed according to the article.

Weather at the time was good.
