So today I was at TPA and in the PEMCO hanger (southern most hanger) there was at least 2, possibly 3 AA 738's being worked on. I have searched high and low and have found nothing regarding AA and PEMCO. Is this a new contract that AA and PEMCO have?
Found it very strange to see to see AA birds over there mulling around which is usually dominated by B6. Would be good for Tampa and TPA and PEMCO who recently lost UA.

This is purely a guess, but they're likely carrying out the MCE conversion on those a/c. The company announced yesterday the 757 and 767 fleets are now complete.
