Looking to go to MCO this Febuary and want to try F9 from TTN. If my flight is canceled dont want to be stuck in FL. What is their policy? Do they offer flights on other airlines or would you have to wait for the next flight that might be 2 days away?

Check out http://www.flyfrontier.com/customer-service/customer-commitment. They have sections dealing with both controllable (mx, diversions, etc) delays and uncontrollable (weather, etc) delays. They apparently have ticketing agreements with AA, US, and UA (among others), so getting a flight MCO-PHL wouldn't be the end of the world probably.

For what it's worth, Frontier has among the lowest cancelation rates month after month. Their operational philosophy is to take delays over cancelations, and while it means their on time record is usually sort of lackluster, they work hard to avoid axing flights.

Is that a "Midwest-ism?" I seem to remember that trait, at least on Skyway.

I think it was. Hard to know if there's any trace of that carrying over from YX to F9....perhaps not. If anything it might be a function of smaller airlines with fewer alternate flight options.
Although nobody likes to be delayed, especially if there are not a lot of mis-connections to deal with, just running everything as scheduled but late probably makes sense for smaller airlines. It's just harder for them to absorb the displaced passengers if flights cancel.

I was in DEN during heavy snow, over 18 inches, and WN canclled everything, UA more than 50% and F9 less than 10%. It got to my destination about 90 min late tops.
