Everybody knows, the Sunday after Thanksgiving Holiday is a very busy travel day in the USA. However, why the additional 777 (2x777) and the single 744, in addition to the other 4x767, 1x332, and a 757 operating ATL-LAX?
All of this is welcoming news for me, however, will this be around to stay? Would love to sit in a 744 again, soon!
Delta Also has some one off flights from LAX. IIRC BNA/FLL and BWI(2x) will get flights. MCO is getting a 752/73H and a 753 . MSP is getting a 332, CVG/MEM are getting extra flight. LAX-KOA is getting a 763 for the weekend.

That Sunday is actually 11/25. Also I'm seeing a slightly different schedule for that day: 4x 757, 1x 764, 1x763, 1x 332, 1x 777, 1x 77L, and 2x 744. Even for the Sunday after Thanksgiving, 2 744s on the route plus an additional 777 seems like way too much capacity.

You beat me to it! I was thinking of going home this weekend and saw that 763-300 to KOA,but since DL is running 2xLAX-MCI on Sunday and I'm a Bronco fan i think i'll head over to Arrowhead Stadium to watch the Bronco's kick some butt...

Apparently not. Loads on all the flights are healthy. Heading west, on the first 744, there's only 1 BE seat left for sale and about 20 coach seats. On the second, BE is sold out and a little over 20 left in the back. Both 777s has about 40 seats left. Eastbound, there are more available seats but I fully expect them to be in the 80% LF range by day of departure.
